GTECH Finland is the provider of the Online Lottery system of Veikkaus, the national lottery of Finland. We develop the software, deliver POS hardware and provide related services that support the retailer terminals located at the kiosks, the central system that processes the transactions, gaming support systems and the Internet sales channel.
Now we are growing our local team and are looking for
J2EE PROGRAMMER
Duties include:
- Software development for large and small projects
- Design and design reviews
- Review and consultation on requirements
- Estimation of software development tasks
- Support of production system
Essential skills:
- 2-3 years experience developing J2EE applications in an enterprise environment
- Experience in all phases of the software development life-cycle, requirements, design, implementation and support
- Proven problem solving skills
- Bachelor degree equivalent or higher
- Self-motivated and open to new challenges
Additional skills:
- Experience with any of the following: SQL, Ant, Maven2, Jboss, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, XML and DB2
- Good written and spoken skills in English and Finnish
