Are you one of those people who can use Linux to solve every problem? Working
on getting your Linux mobile device to do whatever you want is an
inspiration? We have just the thing for you: We are seeking talented Linux
software developers to join our team in Helsinki, Tampere, Oulu, Jyväskylä
or Turku.
As an experienced Linux developer you can handle middleware development and naturally application and user interface development. That is, we're looking for people who know their ways with Linux and can produce results even if the task at hand doesn't fit your profile perfectly.
You should have an appropriate education, like BSc / MSc degree in Software engineering or equivalent. Obviously, a track record from the field is a plus.
In order to be successful in this demanding role we expect you to have:
- Strong skills in C/C++
- Proven experience in various Linux software development tasks
- All-round knowledge on Linux middleware
Additionally, knowing some of these technologies well will be an advantage for you in your tasks
- Qt
- Maemo
- OpenGL
- Browsers
Knowledge of agile work practices, such as Scrum, Continuous Integration and Test Driven Development, as well as having an open and agile mindset, is definitely a plus.
