HCL is currently looking for a
SALES DIRECTOR, IT-SERVICES
to work for their office in Finland.
We are looking for a person with a background in IT-service sales and
understands this industry well. We’re also looking for a person that has
worked within the manufacturing industry and knows this segment better than

Job purpose:
- Take ownership and achieve regional revenue growth targets
- Generate leads, build pipelines and win substantial new business within the Industrial Manufacturing sector in the region
- End-to-end ownership of Sales Process
- Increase awareness of HCL in the focused industry(s) and relevant eco system e.g. via partners and advisors
- Work in close collaboration with customers and colleagues to identify industry trends and push solutions fit for local markets
Core Competencies:
- Solution selling – able to persuade senior managers by showing compelling and innovative solutions which demonstrate clear benefit to the client
- Industry knowledge - In depth understanding typical industry issues and requirements in chosen sectors and can clearly explain how HCL proposition can address these
- Strong people skills - Can build relationships based on trust and credibility with senior managers in both clients/prospects and eco system
- Agile and nimble minded – have an ability to quickly absorb information and pull together compelling customer propositions
- Leadership in managing all aspects of a Sales lifecycle
- Familiar with tools based Sales processes e.g. Siebel
- Entrepreneurial work style – happy to achieve agreed targets in working with limited support and guidance
Professional Experience / Traits:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- 10+ years minimum relevant experience
- Large deal Sales track record
- Understanding of the offshore related business model & processes
- Understanding of IT-service sales
- Relevant employer history
- Ability to quickly absorb information and pull together compelling, simple customer propositions
- Track history of leadership
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong influencing skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and targets planning, prioritizing and controlling own workload
- Understands focus industry trends & requirements
- Active customer network in the region
- Working knowledge of Finnish culture and language
